The only route to date topping out on Bankhead Buttress. It also might provide an alternative rappel route after doing Dan's Delight etc.
A four pitch route located left of the popular "Valley View". Altough being a sport route, don't expect it being grid bolted.
Plutonian Shores 5.9, 7p, sport - Summer 2012: Audrey, Conrad, Greg, John, Ken, Kris, Larry, Mark, Mike, Tom
Lost Lenore 5.10, 7p, sport - Summer 2013: Audrey, Conrad, Kris, Lisa, Mark, Mike, Todd
Approach: Follow guidebook description to Raven Crag. Halfway along the traverse ledge to the sport routes, drop down beside and then below the lower grey slabs to a platform and line of bolts above. 45-60 minutes.
Descent: Walk up to the ridge above and follow trail and cairns to the approach trail. 10 minutes.
Pools in the Wind 5.11c, 110m - a new 3-pitch sport route on Saddle Mountain.
Actually titled "Fools in the Rain"?
The Sunday before the 2013 rain and flood, we put up two new routs at Bighorn Crag in the Sunshine Valley. Hopefully we can go up there again soon.
Old Man Stipple 5.10+, 400m
FA: Brandon Pullan, Urs Kallen Oct 9/10
Updated topo for bolted multi-pitch climbs on Raven's Crag. Plutonian Shores (5.9 - new in 2012), Lost Lenore (5.10d - new in 2013), The Raven (upgraded to 5.11c due to a broken foothold - fully refitted in 2014).
Two routes in the Cory Crack area: Mountaineer's Route (9-13 pitches plus some scrambling, 5.8 or 5.7), this is all bolted but not a beginner's route. It's more like the Kain Route on Mt Louis.
Hoka Hey (9 pitches, 5.8), mixed bolts and gear on mostly good to excellent rock.
About a dozen new routes have been added to the cliffs and the base of Corral (Paddock) Wall Right was severely undercut in the 2013 flood. Topos are correct as of this Fall (2014) but some information is missing with regard to grades and first ascents. Please comment on Tabvar Facebook.
Note: New routes are identified by blue type.
